The Deputy Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine recommended the leader of the Abbas (peace be upon him) Fighting Squad (Brigade 26 of the popular mobilization); Maytham Al-Zaidi, to provide relief and support units in the governorates with the requirements they need, for the purpose of perpetuating their work in the Corona pandemic prevention activities.

The central media of the Squad said that the headquarters of the Squad hosted a meeting of the relief and support units of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the governorates headed by al-Zaidi, and which focused on how to perpetuate he pandemic prevention, given the large role these units play in facing the pandemic in the provinces.

And the official of the Relief Division at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Qassem Al-Ma’mouri, told the central media: “During the meeting we discussed the necessary needs of the units in this regard, especially sterilization materials and ways to provide them. Whereas, the Deputy Secretary General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine recommended the leader of the Abbas Squad, to support these units with what they need during this period.

Mr. Badi Al-Zamili, the official of the Wasit Relief Unit, stressed: "The meeting was fruitful and fulfilled the requests of the units, as they were present in humanitarian and service activities, whether in support of the needy families, the families of the martyrs, or in this pandemic crisis."
