A delegation from the Karbala Agriculture Directorate reviews the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and praises its modern experiences

A delegation from the Karbala Agriculture Directorate visited several agricultural projects belonging to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and commended its modern approaches to developing the agricultural sector.

This visit took place during a tour organized by the Public Relations Department of the Holy Shrine at the Al-Kafeel Nurseries complex, in the presence of Dr. Afdal Al-Shami, a member of the Holy Shrine's Board of Directors.

The head of the department, Mr. Adnan Al-Saffar, stated that the delegation comprised approximately fifty people, including the head of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate, the mayor of Al-Hur district, and the director of the Karbala Agriculture Directorate, as part of a tour to learn about the Holy Shrine's agricultural projects.

He added that this visit comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation with government institutions and introducing the agricultural projects and initiatives implemented by the Holy Shrine, which contributes to the exchange of expertise and opens new avenues for cooperation in the agricultural field.

For his part, delegation member Mr. Hashim Al-Zuhairi stated that the delegation inspected agricultural projects completed using modern technologies, as well as projects in the livestock sector. He explained that what they witnessed represents a significant achievement for the province and Iraq, in addition to projects that welcome citizens and provide an atmosphere conducive to tourism and recreation.

Al-Zuhairi added that the visit resulted in an agreement to strengthen joint cooperation, particularly in the livestock sector, and to work on implementing a new project in collaboration between the two parties, which will serve the province and support its agricultural sector.

This visit comes within the framework of the Al-Abbas' (p) Holy Shrine's openness to government institutions and its efforts to enhance communication with them to open avenues for joint cooperation in agricultural fields, serving the holy province of Karbala and its community.
