A procession of Karbala residents commemorates the passing of Lady Fatima al-Masooma (peace be upon her) in the city of Kadhemiyah

The Karbala residents' procession commemorated the passing of Lady Fatima al-Masooma (peace be upon her) at the shrine of her father, Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon them both), in the city of Kadhemiya. This event was organized in coordination with the Department of Husseini Rites, Processions, and Bodies at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

Sayed Qasim al-Tarfi, the department's deputy head, stated: "Today, the various processions of Karbala residents—including their different groups, districts, and organizations—gathered to hold a unified mourning procession. They came to offer condolences and express their grief to Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) on the anniversary of the passing of his daughter, Lady Fatima al-Masooma (peace be upon her)."

He added, "The department provided all logistical support for the unified procession, including 40 buses to facilitate the transport of participating mourners from Karbala to the Kadhemiya Holy Shrine, in coordination with the shrine's General Secretariat."

Al-Tarfi noted that "the Karbala residents' procession continues to commemorate all occasions related to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including the anniversary of the passing of Lady Fatima al-Masooma (peace be upon her) in the city of Kadhemiya."
