A thousand beneficiaries from the services of the Intellectual Affairs Department on the martyrdom anniversary of the Companion Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him)

The Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that more than 1,000 visitors benefited from the cultural and intellectual stations it set up at the shrine of the noble companion Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) in Wasit Governorate.

The stations were organized by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center affiliated with the department in conjunction with the anniversary of his martyrdom. They included intellectual, cultural, and advisory programs, in addition to knowledge and cultural competitions, with the aim of providing diverse awareness and guidance content, and enhancing religious and intellectual awareness among visitors, especially the youth and student groups.

The center's representative, Sheikh Mustafa Al-Eidani, said, "The number of beneficiaries from the cultural and intellectual stations exceeded 1,000 visitors, in addition to the participation of about 400 people in the cultural competitions."

He added that "the stations witnessed remarkable interaction from the visitors, through benefiting from intellectual and doctrinal consultations, legal inquiries, and cultural dialogs, in addition to participating in events and competitions, which contributed to enhancing the educational and intellectual aspect of the Ziyarat, and providing knowledge-based and guiding content that meets the needs of the visitors."
