The Department of Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine—through the First Aid Commission of the Al-Warith Scouts Association and in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Department—organized a training course for shrine personnel titled "First Aid Skills," aimed at developing their skill sets and strengthening their capabilities in handling emergency situations.

The course trainer, Mr. Mohammad Al-Zamili, stated in an interview with the Official Website that "the Department of Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the First Aid Commission of the Al-Warith Scouts Association and in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Department, held a training course for Imam Hussain Holy Shrine staff entitled 'First Aid Skills'."

He explained that "the course involves training participants in a set of essential first aid skills, helping them respond effectively to emergency and critical cases and provide necessary initial assistance until specialized medical care is available."

He added that "the training program focused on several key topics, including how to handle fractures, burns, and other emergencies that visitors might encounter, thereby boosting participants' readiness and ability to respond to situations requiring rapid first-aid intervention."

He further noted that "the objective of this course is to promote health and preventive awareness among staff members and hone their first aid skills, ultimately contributing to enhancing pilgrim safety and improving the quality of services rendered to them."

It is worth noting that the Department of Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation continues to execute training and rehabilitation programs and activities aimed at building the capacities of youth and staff and enhancing their skills across various fields in alignment with the requirements of serving visitors.
