Al-Kafeel Apiaries: We rely on migratory apiaries to increase the production of various types of natural honey.
The Al-Kafeel Apiaries Division, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, has confirmed its reliance on migratory beekeeping practices to boost the production of various types of natural honey.
Engineer Suhail Najm Abd, the division's deputy head, stated that the Al-Kafeel apiaries in Baghdad employ a migratory approach—transporting hives to approximately five different locations annually during flowering and plant growth seasons—rather than keeping the hives stationary. This practice aims to increase the production of varieties such as Sidr, eucalyptus, clover, and thistle honey.
He added that Al-Kafeel apiaries produce 100% additive-free natural honey, which undergoes rigorous laboratory testing and scientific analysis using precision equipment and techniques to verify its authentic composition.
Abd emphasized that the division aims to support Iraqi beekeepers and supply local markets with natural honey in various packaging sizes, alongside other bee products such as pollen, royal jelly, and propolis.
