Holding the burial ceremonies for the remains of the Badush Prison martyrs at the Al-Kafeel Cemetery in Najaf Ashraf

Under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the burial ceremony for the sixth batch of the martyrs of the Badush prison massacre was held at the Al-Kafeel Cemetery in Najaf Ashraf.
The Iraqi Center for Documenting Extremism Crimes, affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine, in cooperation and coordination with the Forensic Medicine Department and the Department for the Protection of Mass Graves and Missing Persons, adopted the ceremonies for the victims' funerals and burials, as part of its efforts to preserve national memory and document the crimes they were subjected to.
The funeral procession included the funeral prayer, which started from Sheikh Al-Tusi Street and reached the holy courtyard, with the participation of Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami, a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, several of its officials, official and religious figures, and the families of the martyrs.
The ceremonies included a visit to the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and holding a mourning assembly for the souls of the martyrs, in remembrance of what they endured and to console their families after years of waiting. The remains of the martyrs were buried in the Al-Kafeel Cemetery in the holy city of Najaf.
