The African Activities Division, affiliated with the Religious Affairs Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues to implement its missionary and educational programs across several African nations, including Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Tanzania, with the goal of spreading Islamic knowledge and fostering scientific and missionary movements in those countries.

In a statement obtained by the official website, the division said: "The African Activities Division of the Religious Affairs Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to execute its missionary and educational programs in a number of African countries—among them Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Tanzania—aimed at disseminating Islamic knowledge and strengthening the scientific and preaching movement in those regions."

It explained that "the programs featured the organization of religious celebrations and occasions, alongside daily and weekly lessons in the Holy Quran, jurisprudence (Fiqh), ideology (Aqa'id), and the Arabic language, as well as instructions in grammar and morphology (Nahw and Sarf)."

It added that "the programs also encompass specialized courses in the art of public speaking and pulpit oratory (Minbar), contributing to the enhancement of students' scientific and rhetorical skills and empowering them to carry out their missionary roles more effectively."

Furthermore, it noted that "these activities fall under its efforts to consolidate Islamic concepts and knowledge, support religious scholars and students, and refine their academic and oratorical skills, thereby enhancing the presence of authentic Islamic discourse in the targeted African countries."

The African Activities Division continues to carry out its missionary and educational programs within its plans aimed at expanding the scope of religious and academic activities, contributing to raising a generation equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill its missionary and intellectual duties.
