The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors participants in the first coordination forum for the medical services of the holy shrines

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honored the participants of the first coordination forum for the medical services of Iraq’s holy shrines—an event organized by its own Medical Affairs Department—in recognition of their active participation.

The honoring ceremony was conducted by Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami, a member of the Holy Shrine’s Board of Directors; Sayed Aqeel Al-Yasiri, Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department; and Maher Khalid, Deputy Head of the Medical Affairs Department. Those honored included representatives from the Ministry of Health, the medical divisions of the various holy shrines and Shia sacred sites, as well as all other forum participants.

Additionally, Dr. Haifa Al-Tamimi, Head of the Medical Affairs Department, honored the female representatives from the holy shrines’ medical divisions, acknowledging their participation and their contributions toward fostering communication and the exchange of medical expertise and experience.

This recognition underscores the commitment of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to strengthening cooperation among the medical institutions of the holy shrines and Shia sacred sites. It aims to unify efforts and facilitate the sharing of expertise, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of medical and emergency services provided to visitors—especially during large-scale, mass-attendance Ziyarats.
