The Al-Kafeel Center for Health and Safety conducts an awareness workshop on first aid for students of the University of Karbala

The Al-Kafeel Center for Health and Public Safety, affiliated with the Medical Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, conducted an awareness workshop on first aid for students of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala.

Mustafa Falah, the center’s director, stated, "The workshop aims to equip students with the skills to handle emergency situations and provide necessary first aid, whether on campus or at home."

He added, "The workshop covered how to manage several common medical issues—such as food poisoning, fractures, and burns—and outlined the essential first-aid procedures to be followed in such instances."

Dr. Qusay Al-Asadi, a faculty member at the college, noted that "the workshop provided practical guidance for dealing with emergencies." He praised its importance in enhancing health and first-aid awareness among students and teaching staff, enabling them to respond appropriately to accidents both inside and outside the university.

This workshop is part of the center’s ongoing efforts to promote first-aid awareness and strengthen the community's capacity to respond to emergency incidents.
