The Al-Kafeel Religious Schools Division opens Al-Kawthar School in Wasit Governorate

The Al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools Division, affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official of Women's Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, inaugurated the Al-Kawthar Women's Religious School in Wasit Governorate, coinciding with the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad and Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon them).

The head of the division, Ms. Bushra al-Kinani, stated that "the school's opening was attended by several female officials from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, along with the school's administration and students." She explained that "the school represents a new addition to the Al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools, and we hope it will be a beacon of knowledge and faith, and a field for building conscious and faithful women."

She added that "the school was established in response to the urgent need of women in this region to deepen their understanding of religion and emulate the example of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Two hundred students applied to enroll, and the school accepted 110 students, based on its capacity."

Al-Kinani explained that "the curriculum includes a number of Hawza subjects, such as jurisprudence, theology, grammar, logic, biography, recitation, and principles of jurisprudence," noting that "the teaching staff includes a number of female professors who are graduates of Al-Kafeel schools."

The opening of the school comes as an extension of the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to support religious education and expand the reach of Al-Kafeel religious schools for women in the provinces, thus providing women with broader opportunities to deepen their understanding of religion and acquire religious knowledge.
