The Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine conducts an inspection tour of some sites in the area between the two holy shrines

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Muhammad Ali Azhar, conducted an inspection tour of several sites belonging to the Department of the Area Between the Two Holy Shrines.

The Assistant Head of the Department, Mr. Habib Al-Dahash, stated that "this inspection tour of some of the department's sites included directives from the Deputy Secretary-General to improve the operational mechanisms of these sites."

He added that "the tour included monitoring the staff and their needs, reviewing the progress of work, and addressing the difficulties faced by the staff deployed in the Old City."

This tour is part of a series of field visits conducted by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine to assess the needs of its departments and sites and overcome any obstacles they encounter.

The Department of the Area Between the Two Holy Shrines provides various services to visitors, including preparing the central courtyard by washing and carpeting it, conducting cleaning campaigns for the areas and roads leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and providing busses to transport elderly and disabled visitors.

The department intensifies its efforts during religious occasions and Thursday nights, with the influx of large numbers of visitors, to provide them with the best services and maintain the smooth performance of the Ziyarat rituals.
