The evening events of the closing ceremony for the activities and programs of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association for the year 2026 have commenced

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the evening activities for the closing ceremony of the activities and programs of the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association for the year 2026, at the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) complex.

The ceremony is organized by the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association, affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine, with the participation of more than 1,000 students from the provinces of Karbala and Basra, under the slogan "Generations Following the Prophets," and it will last for two days.

The evening activities included a variety of segments, starting with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Hassanein Al-Halou, followed by a welcoming speech to the students delivered by Dr. Zaman Al-Kanani, head of the activities and camps section in the department. This was accompanied by several theatrical segments, showcasing some talents and skills in programming and Quranic contemplation, and concluded with the honoring of several scouting members.

The events included a cultural debate among several students, discussing the importance of respecting parents and appreciating their role in the family, and warning against being swayed by content that incites young people against their families through social media.

The debate also discussed the role of scouting activities in building the character of young people, promoting values of discipline, leadership, and responsibility, which contributes to preparing a generation that possesses awareness and the ability to deal with various challenges.

A number of parents, school principals, and teachers attended the events, along with those interested in developmental, youth, and scouting fields.

The second day of the celebration includes a scout parade with the participation of all students at the Youth Sports Stadium, along with the performance of the national anthem and several theatrical shows inside the stadium, concluding with the honoring of the participants and contributors to the program's activities.

The closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association programs comes within the framework of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's interest in youth energies, its keenness to develop students' skills and enhance their abilities and talents, and to instill educational and moral values, as well as the spirit of cooperation, teamwork, and belonging in them. This contributes to preparing a conscious generation capable of bearing responsibility and serving the community through various scouting and educational programs.
