The External Sites Affairs Department follows up on the needs of several centers and institutions affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine

The Department of External Sites Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine conducted field visits to several of its centers and institutions in Dhi Qar and Basra to assess their needs and identify their service and administrative requirements.
The visits included the Southern Heritage Center—affiliated with the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs—in Basra Governorate, and the Holy Quran Institute—affiliated with the Scientific Complex for the Holy Quran—in Dhi Qar Governorate. Also included were two "Al-Qamar Cultural Forum" centers, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs; one located in the provincial capital and the other in the Al-Nasr sub-district.
The visit to the Southern Heritage Center involved following up on observations and needs noted during a previous visit, reviewing completed tasks as well as those currently underway, and discussing ways to address requirements related to the work environment and services, within the scope of available resources.
In Dhi Qar Governorate, the department examined the status of the Holy Quran Institute and its facilities, assessing its operational needs. Various observations and requirements were documented, and priorities for addressing them were established in coordination with the relevant authorities, with the aim of supporting the Institute’s Quranic activities and providing the necessary resources for its staff.
The visits also encompassed the two Al-Qamar Cultural Forum centers—in the provincial capital and the Al-Nasr sub-district—to evaluate their ongoing operations and services. This included reviewing the progress made on addressing the points and needs identified during the initial visit, as well as determining which requirements still necessitate further follow-up. These visits are part of the efforts by the Department of External Sites Affairs to monitor the needs of the sites affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine through on-site assessments. The process involves addressing noted observations and establishing priorities, thereby contributing to the creation of a suitable work environment and supporting the continued pursuit of cultural, intellectual, and Quranic activities.
