Staff from the Gifts and Vows Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have begun sewing the sashes and caps for the female students participating in the 11th edition of the central graduation ceremony for university students from Iraq and Islamic nations.

The department head, Mr. Abbas Al-Hakim, stated: "Staff from the sewing and gifts Divisions have commenced the preparation of approximately 7,000 sashes and caps for the students participating in the ceremony."

He added: "Through this ceremony, the Holy Shrine aims to celebrate university students in a manner befitting their academic achievements, highlight their role in nation-building and community service, and encourage them to continue their academic journeys."

The event is organized by the Al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools Division—affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine—under the theme: "From the Light of Fatimah (peace be upon her), We Illuminate the World." It is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026.
