The Grid Manufacturing Department begins installing the metal pieces on the wooden frame of the Al-Abbas Gate (peace be upon him)

The department of manufacturing the holy shrine grids and doors at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has begun installing the metal pieces on the wooden structure of the door of Abbas (peace be upon him), which is made for the shrine of the two Imams, of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them).

The head of the department, Mr. Nadhem Al-Gharabi, said: "Our team has begun installing the ornate metal pieces on the wooden structure of the Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) door, which was made for the shrine of the two Imams Al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them) after designing it with precision and care. Its length is 2.98 meters, its width is 2.06 meters, and it includes 20 battalions and 10 turrets."

He added that "the manufacturing of the holy door was carried out in several stages, the first of which involved creating a wooden structure consisting of a main frame and two symmetrical wings. The second stage involved completing 95% of the floral engravings on copper and drawing them professionally to ensure the production of an artistic masterpiece worthy of the sanctity and status of the holy shrine."

Al-Gharabi explained that "the third phase will involve the work of the Quranic and poetic battalions, which will be placed on the door after their completion in the coming days. As for the fourth phase, it will include gilding the noble door after it is transferred to the goldsmithing and handicrafts department, to adorn it and give it elegance and beauty before its installation in its designated place."
