Wide turnout at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's pavilion at the Baghdad International Book Fair

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's pavilion, participating in the 27th Baghdad International Book Fair, is witnessing a wide turnout of visitors and those interested in cultural and intellectual matters on the third day of the fair's activities.
The exhibition is held with the participation of more than 600 publishing houses from 28 countries, and its events last for ten days, with the participation of several institutions, publishing houses, and cultural entities.
The head of the holy shrine's pavilion at the exhibition, Mr. Muhammad Al-Araji, said that the pavilion is witnessing a notable influx from various segments of society to view its diverse collection of books and intellectual, cultural, and scientific publications.
He added that the publications available in the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine pavilion address various segments and categories of society, and meet the interests of readers, researchers, and those interested in knowledge and culture, due to the diverse topics they include, which combine religious, doctrinal, intellectual, cultural, and scientific aspects.
Al-Araji explained that the pavilion includes more than 780 diverse publications, including encyclopedias, books, and peer-reviewed scientific journals, in addition to religious, doctrinal, and cultural publications, presenting the output of several departments and institutions of the holy shrine.
He explained that the participation of the holy shrine aims to convey its intellectual and cultural output to a wider audience and to introduce the scientific and knowledge projects it offers, through publications that seek to address society with its various segments and interests.
The participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the Baghdad International Book Fair continues until the conclusion of its activities on the 12th of this September, amidst wide participation from cultural institutions and local, Arab, and international publishing houses.
