The Engineering and Technical Projects Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the ongoing construction work on the Autism Center project in Qalaat Sukkar District, Dhi Qar Governorate, indicating that the completion rate has reached 80%.

In a statement received by the Official Website, the department stated, "The Engineering and Technical Projects Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues work on the Autism Center project in Qalaat Sukkar District, Dhi Qar Governorate," noting that "the completion rate has reached 80%."

The department explained that "this center represents a crucial step toward establishing an integrated environment that guarantees the delivery of the latest therapeutic and educational programs for individuals on the autism spectrum, contributing to their integration into society and easing the burden on their families in the region."

It added that "the project is being built on a total land area of 450 sq. m, with a built-up area reaching approximately 900 sq. m, and was designed according to engineering and environmental standards tailored to the special needs of the beneficiary children."

It further noted that "the building consists of two floors and includes 8 educational classrooms, 2 specialized clinics for diagnosis, as well as a set of administrative rooms, 8 sanitary facilities, and an electric elevator to facilitate movement and mobility inside the center."

Through the construction of these service and rehabilitation centers across various governorates, Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, via its Engineering and Technical Projects Department, seeks to expand the provision of comprehensive healthcare and educational services to various segments of society and elevate the level of services offered to citizens.
