With the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday approaching, the Religious Affairs Department is witnessing a widespread demand for organizing marriage contracts

The Religious Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is witnessing a surge in demand from believers to officiate marriage contracts, coinciding with the approaching anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

Sheikh Mohammad al-Kuraity, head of the department's Social Affairs Division, stated that the department is experiencing an increasing number of believers seeking to officiate marriage contracts, coinciding with the approaching anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and the significance of this occasion in Islamic history.

He added that the department has prepared a special area to receive families, in addition to offering guidance lectures aimed at promoting adherence to Islamic teachings and how to build a successful family and marital relationship.
