In the name of Allah: Abu Talib was not a prophet or Imam in the religious terms. He is one of Ismael’s (PBUH) defendants who took the religious leadership in Mecca. I personally, think that he did not commit a minor or major sin. He is just like Abu Al-Fadhil Al-Abbas (PBUH). Allah knows best.
