Is it valid to contract a sharecropping agreement on a specific portion for the worker and assign a particular tree to him without it being shared with others? Or is it necessary for the portion to be shared between them?
Answer
In the name of Allah, the portion assigned to the worker must be shared from the produce of the orchard on which the sharecropping agreement was contracted. However, if both parties agree after completing the transaction and after the work has been done that the worker can take from a specific tree, then there is no objection to that. Allah knows best.
