Is paying tax to the government obligatory? If not, can we lie for keeping the tax without giving it?

In the name of Allah, be advised my son, that taxes and other money that any state takes from citizens is for managing the government and serving the people, such as building bridges, paving streets, managing hospitals, maintaining security, and defending the homeland by organizing the affairs of the army under its authority. Thus, you are not allowed to abstain from and manipulate the payment of your dues within the law. Allah is all Guide and knowing.
