Is it disliked to divorce one’s wife without any reason?

In the name of Allah, know, my son, that divorce can be compared to a surgical operation that a patient may need, where he loses some of his organs in order to preserve his life. Allah, the Exalted, has made divorce with this concept in mind. It has been narrated from Imam al-Ṣādiq (PBUH): “There is nothing among the things Allah has permitted that He hates more than divorce.” There are both reliable and unreliable narrations to this effect. Moreover, divorce may result in other family misfortunes, and the children may be deprived of the full affection of the father or the full affection of the mother after their separation.
