Is it obligatory for believers to console Imam Hussain (PBUH)? How can this consolation be achieved? Is consolation a specific act with set requirements, or is it a general title that depends on the intention of the person consoling?
Answer
In the name of Allah, it is obligatory for all Muslims to console Imam Hussain (PBUH) by weeping for him, holding mourning sessions, and renewing his rituals. Through this, they also console the Prophet (PBUH&HF), Imam Ali (PBUH), Lady Zahra (PBUH), Imam Hasan (PBUH), the pure Imams, and the awaited Imam Al-Zamana (may Allah hasten his return). The meaning of consolation is to mourn his loss, considering the suffering he endured in his noble uprising. Allah is the Guide and the Successor.
