If a person is required to make up a missed obligation, such as prayer or fasting, how should they count the days of the months for that year? Should they count them as thirty days or twenty-nine?
Answer
In the name of Allah, they should count the days as thirty lunar days unless they are certain that one of the months they missed fasting was twenty-nine days. The same applies to prayer. Allah knows best.
