What is the ruling on marriage to, and marrying off to, non-Muslims such as the People of the Book, or any non-Muslims in general, whether permanent or temporary?
Answer
In the name of Allah, a permanent marriage contract of a Muslim man with a non-Muslim woman is not valid. As for a temporary marriage, it is permissible for a Muslim man with a woman from the People of the Book if the other conditions are fulfilled. However, it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man, whether permanently or temporarily. Allah knows best.
