Is it permissible to act as an agent in performing the obligatory voluntary prayers (nawafil) on behalf of the living?
Answer
In the name of Allah, it is not permissible except for independent recommended acts such as visiting holy shrines, reading the Quran, and other independent recommended acts like giving charity and similar actions. Allah knows best.
