I have some funds in the name of Imam Hussein (PBUH). Is it permissible to donate it to the hospital of Imam Hussein (PBUH) because they are in need of fund? Or, do I have to give it to an orphanage institution here in Kashmir “Al-Masomeen Orphanage”?
Answer
In the name of Allah, if you have vowed (Nazr) that you raise the funds for a specific purpose, any of which that you have mentioned, then you have to use it for that named purpose only. If you have not vowed it for a specific purpose, you can choose whatever place to spend it on. Allah knows best.
