If a person is mandated to fast an atonement or missed fasting , is it valid for him to fast on the day of doubt, with the intention of complying with the actual order addressed to him?
Answer
In the name of Allah, this is not permissible. Rather, he has to intend to perform a missed fasting as it cannot be delayed because there would be atonement if it is deliberately done. Allah knows best.
