Regarding the day of doubt, is it permissible for one to intend to offer fasting in this way: “I intend to fast tomorrow for Ramadhan if it is Ramadhan and if not Ramadhan, then I do it as a recommended fasting of Sh’ban.”?
Answer
In the name of Allah, this is not permissible. However, he has to specify as either it is Ramadhan or Qadha fast, whether the Qadha is from Ramadhan or not. Allah knows best.
