In the name of Allah, it's known from sources that he fell ill and passed away due to it, but the nature of the illness isn't specified in the narrations. Yes, some narrations suggest that a woman poisoned him. There are different versions and interpretations regarding this incident. It's been said that the poison was administered by a Jewish woman who offered him food, which was poisoned, and the poison remained in his noble body until his demise. Another account mentions that another woman from the Prophet's surroundings poisoned him during his illness ( PBUH and HF). It's evident that the chain of narrations lacks comprehensive investigation. Allah knows best and He is the Guide.
