Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Imran ad-Daqqaq - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn Abi Abdillah al-Kufi quoted on the authority of Muhammad ibn Ismaโil al-Barmaki, on the authority of Al-Husayn ibn Al-Hassan, on the authority of Bakr ibn Ziyad, on the authority of Abdul Aziz al-Mohtadi, โI asked Al-Ridhaโ about the Unity. The Imam (a.s.) said, โWhoever recites (the Quranic verse) โSay, He is Allah, the One and Onlyโ [50] and believes in it has recognized Unity.โ Then I asked, โHow should we recite it?โ The Imam (a.s.) said, โ Recite it as the people recite it.โ The Imam (a.s.) also added, โKathaleka Rabbi. Kathaleka Rabbiโ (This is how my Lord is. This is how my Lord is)โ for three times.โโ
