The establishment looking after the affairs of martyrs gave a grant to the family of a martyr (my son) to meet the expenses of holding a memorial service for him. If I accept it, would this make me sinful or detract from the Allah’s reward to the martyr?
Answer
There is no harm in accepting these grants. It should not detract from reward of the martyr or his family.
