What is the Islamic law about tattoos? Do they affect the wudhu and ghusl?

Subcutaneous tattooing is permissible in and of itself and does not affect ritual ablution (wudhu), ritual washing (ghusl), or prayer.

Answer
It is permissible as long as it does not promote falsehood or involve any other religiously objectionable action. However, it is generally better to avoid such an act altogether.

Since the tattoos are done under the skin, there is no problem. However, if they are considered zinah (adornment) in common view, she must cover them from non-mahram men.
