Hadith 31-125

وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ أَبِي طالِبٍ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: إِذا أَرادَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْحاجَةَ فَليُبَكِّر طَلَبِها يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَليَقرَأ إِذا خَرَجَ مِن مَنْزِلِهِ آخِرَ سُورَةِ آلِ عِمْرانَ، وَآيَةَ الكُرسِيِّ وَإِنّا أَنْزَلَناهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ القَدرِ وَاُمُّ الْكِتابِ، فَإِنَّ فِيها قَضاءَ حَوائِجِ الدُّنْيا وَالآخِرَةِ.

According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) said, “If anyone of you has some need, he should go after its fulfillment on Thursdays. When you leave the house, recite the end of the Chapter ‘Aal Imran’, the verses ‘Aya of al-Kursi’, the verse ‘Inna Anzalnaho Fi Laylatil Qadr’, and the mother of the Book (i.e. the Chapter ‘Al-Hamd’), since there is the fulfillment of the needs of this world and the Hereafter in them.
