Hadith 31-271

وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: قالَ النَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: مَن تَوَلّى‏ غَيْرَ مَوالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالمَلائِكَة وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِين.

According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.) the Prophet (S) said, “May God’s Curse of God, the angels, and all the people be upon whoever chooses a leader other than his true leader, or chooses a master other than his true master.”
