Hadith 31-350

وَبِهذَا الإسناد قالَ: قالَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: أطفئوا المصابيح بِاللَّيل لاتجرها الفويسقة فتحرق البِيْت وَما فِيهِ.

According to the same documentation, God’s Prophet (S) said, “Put out the lights at night as some bugs might cause the flames to move and set your house and whatever in it on fire.”
