Is the distinction between Allah and His creatures is the differentiation of the thing from the other thing or the distinctions of attribute as some believe relying on the words of the Imam of the Faithful (PBUH): the distinction is a matter of attribute not separating characteristics?
Answer
In the name of Allah, the Imam (PBUH) says that there is no limit between the Creator and the creature; between the Creator and the body. So, it is necessary for Allah to be limited. Therefore, the Imam (PBUH) said in one of his sermons “He [Allah] has neither defining limit nor limited attribute”. The purpose of the description of the attribute that it is an obligation and other is possible. Allah is a creator and the other is created. Allah is worshipped, while the other is a slave. Allah knows best.
