My question is about ritual bathing. When I bathed, I found something tiny on my nail (some substance). I do not know what it is and whether it prevents the water from reaching the nail. Then, I completed the bathing, but I was so worried whether my bath was valid or not. In case that thing prevents water from touching the nail spot, do I have to repeat the bathing or shall I wash the spot which was not touched by water with the intention of completing the ritual bathing?

In the name of Allah, It must be ensured that water reaches every point of the body that must be washed in order to complete the ritual bathing. The bathing person has to remove the thing which he suspected to prevent the water from reaching the body spot. Therefore, the ritual bathing is not valid. If the bathing is sequential, then if what you mentioned is on the right side, then it is sufficient that the suspected area is washed in the required manner and then the left side. If the substance is in the left side, it is sufficient to make the water reach the suspected spot (after removing the substance which prevents the water). If the substance is on the head or its surroundings, the spot is to be washed, the right side and then the left side. In case the bathing was in immersion, it is sufficient to wash the suspected spot wherever it is. The ritual bathing does is not to be repeated. Allah knows best.
