In the name of Allah, this is not sufficient. It is necessary to know the exact quantity of dates in order to pay the complete Zakat. However, if one estimates and pays more than what may be the actual amount of Zakat, it will fulfill the obligation, and this excess payment will serve as an act of atonement. Allah knows best.
