If a farmer dies while having crops, and his death occurs before the time of zakat, but after his death the crops reach the zakat threshold, is zakat obligatory on the heirs, whether or not each one’s share reaches the nisab (minimum taxable amount)?

In the name of Allah, whoever’s share reaches the nisab is obligated to pay zakat. Allah knows best.

It can be difficult to determine the exact quantity of dates obtained. Is it permissible to estimate and round off to determine the weight of the dates and pay Zakat accordingly?

In the name of Allah, this is not sufficient. It is necessary to know the exact quantity of dates in order to pay the complete Zakat. However, if one estimates and pays more than what may be the actual amount of Zakat, it will fulfill the obligation, and this excess payment will serve as an act of atonement. Allah knows best.

If I have date palm trees in different locations, and the zakat threshold is not reached in any single location, but the total quantity may reach the threshold when combined, is zakat obligatory, or is it waived?
