There are pilgrimage texts (zyarats) mentioned by Al-Mashhadi in his book Al-Mazar that he does not attribute to an infallible and they do not appear in any other sources. Based on this, there are two issues: 1.Is every pilgrimage text transmitted by him about the infallibles (PBUT) considered authentic, even if it is not properly attributed to them? 2.Should the texts transmitted by him, which are attributed to an infallible, be treated like the other books of visits?

1: In the name of Allah, attributing a pilgrimage text or supplication to an infallible (PBUH) without an authentic chain of transmission is not permissible. This does not mean, however, that one cannot benefit from the supplication or visit itself. Allah is the Guide, and He is the All-knowing. 2: In the name of Allah, the status of such texts is similar to that of unauthenticated narrations in terms of legal rulings. Allah is the All-knowing.

Is the mixing that occurred during the Arbaeen pilgrimage acceptable according to Islamic law, in light of health warnings regarding physical contact and social distancing?

It is impossible for a person living among others on this earth to avoid all forms of contact. Ask yourself, my son, do you not sit with your family? Do you not buy fruits, vegetables, bread, and other things that have been touched by others? Do you not approach these items? Does the nursing mother not embrace her infant? Wake up if you are asleep. Be informed that the visit to Imam Hussain (PBUH), and similar acts, are carried out in compliance with Allah’s commands, seeking His mercy and desiring the intercession of Hussain (PBUH) to protect us from this calamity, the epidemic, and other afflictions. Peace be upon those who follow the guidance.
It is mentioned in the Ziyarat Ashura (and curse 'Ubaid Allah ibn Ziyad, and Ibn Marjana). Are these two individuals the same person, or are they separate figures? And why is there a distinction between them?

In the name of Allah, a person earns praise and blame based on their personal qualities and their association with either the good or the evil. The distinction in the Ziyarat is meant to highlight the specific curse upon each individual, demonstrating that each is deserving of being cursed and disassociated from in two ways: by their own characteristics (self) and by their ancestral ties (heritage). At the end of the holy Ashura pilgrimage text, is it necessary to face the Qibla during prostration?

If a person is well-off, is it better for him to visit the shrines of the Ahlulbait (PBUT) or to help the poor and those in need?

In the name of Allah, both actions are recommended, and one can draw closer to Allah by assisting the believing needy and also by attending the shrines of the infallible Imams (PBUT), where he can pray for himself and for the well-being of the believers. Allah is the All-Knowing.
I recite the visitation text of Ashura every day for four years and haven't left reciting for a single. Now, people tell me that it is not correct to recite it every day as this action harms. Is that correct? Are there specific days on which our pure Imams (PBUT) prevent us from reciting Ashura, such as the third of Sha’ban and the ninth of Rabi’ al-Awwal?

In the name of Allah, there is no doubt that there is preference of Al-Taf martyrs over other martyrs. That is why Hamza Ibn Abdulmutalib (PBUH) is called the master of the martyrs out of those who died in Battle of Uhud. As for not mentioning Abal Fazl (PBUH), the reason is - Allah knows best- that this visitation text was created when the master of believers (PBUH) did the visitation and it was remotely done. That is why other than the master of martyrs was mentioned in general. Mentioning his name, Ali Al-Akbar (PBUH), specifically is a reference to his privilege over the rest of the martyrs from among the relatives of the Master of Martyrs (PBUT), and Abal Fazl Al-Abbas (PBUH) also entered into this general address. It is narrated in the Nahyia visitation text about Imam Mahdi (PBUH): (…You fell to the ground wounded. The horses trample you with their hooves, and tyrants mount you with their bows. Your forehead has perspired for death….) Al-Mazar, page: 504. Do we understand from this excerpt that the enemies trampled the body of Imam Hussein (PBUH) before and after his martyrdom?

In the name of Allah, it seems so. The Imam (may Allah hasten his reappearance) knows more about what happened to his oppressed grandfather. We have said repeatedly that the narrations are various and different regarding the details of Karbala tragedy. So long as there is no offense in narrating this narration, there is no objection to it. Allah knows best.

In the name of Allah, as for the night of the tenth of Muharram, it is appropriate for the Karbala incident that a person visits with the general pilgrimage text of Imam Hussein (PBUH) or to visit using Ashura text. Yet, to stay in Karbala and commemorate this night with worship and mention of the misfortunes of Hussein and his family and companions (PBUT) and remember the words of the Imam and his advice is required on the tenth day of Muharram. Two pilgrimage texts have been narrated for this day in the books of supplications like Mafateehul Jinan and others. It seems from the narrations that one of the signs of loving the Ahlulbait (PBUT) is the concern for what we mentioned on the night and day of the tenth. One of the characteristics of the Twelver Shiite is that he mourns with tear during the aforementioned day and night. Allah is the Guide.
What is your opinion regarding that visiting Imam Hussein (PBUH) on the day of Arafa is better than the delegated Ummrah and Haj?

In the explanation of Ashura pilgrimage text in the part "I am in peace to whoever in peace with you, in war to whoever in war with you, an ally to whoever allies with you and an enemy to whoever an enemy to you." We can notice that there are different types of allegiance; political, economic, moral and theological allegiances. If there is an overlap among them, how would we deal with that?

In the name of Allah, there is no narration mentioned to visit a specific Imam on this day. So, any one of them (PBUT) can be visited by the general pilgrimage text (Ziara Mutlaqa) which is mentioned in our authentic books in their favour. As for the master of the martyrs (PBUH), there is a specific pilgrimage text which is authentic and found in the books of pilgrimage texts and supplications. It is narrated that it has great rewards and that the heavenly kindness and mercy fall upon the pilgrims of Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (PBUH) in preference to those who are in the holy Mecca. The pilgrim should seek to pledge to Allah, Hussein, and all the martyrs of the Taf, especially children and infants, not to commit a sin in the future, and request them to intercede in forgiving past sins so that he returns pious who deserves the acceptance of his deeds, especially the visitation. He should seek to pledge to Allah, Hussein, and all the martyrs of the Taf that he commits to the rights of all the people and Ahlulbait (PBUT) whether financial rights or others so that he returns with willingness to gain forgiveness from those Shia whom he oppressed and from all creatures whether humans or not. He should even be kind with animals which he has hurt and ask Allah to be a mediator between him and those whom he oppressed (as mentioned in the Monday supplication). What a better way for a Muslim to commit to this supplication. Allah knows best.
When going to the holy Karbala to visit Imam Hussein and his brother Abu Al-Fadhl Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which one would you prefer to visit first? Kindly mention of sources and hadiths.

In the name of Allah, be informed, my son, that there is no doubt that visiting Hussein (PBUH) is more honorable and better, but if the pilgrim intends to visit on Friday night, he can perform the Maghrib prayer in the shrine of Abi Al-Fadhl (PBUH) and then enter the shrine of Al-Hussein (PBUH), where by that time the night has fallen so that his entry to the shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH) will be on Friday night. If he enters the shrine before the sunset and performs his visitation, it will not be considered the visitation of the Friday night unless he recites the pilgrimage text after Maghrib prayer. My son, these are the ways and you can choose. Allah is the Guide and Knowing.
It is mentioned in the pilgrimage text of Ameen Allah: "Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful. I testify that you made utmost efforts, as it should be, in the cause of Allah." To the end of the holy text. It is no secret to your highness that some people who are counted as Shia of the master of believers (PBUH) speak against those who are blessed with walking to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (PBUH). The latest of what we heard from those hypocrites is that they say: the Mawkibs which serve the pilgrims and the pilgrims themselves harm Karbala as they fill it with dirt and garbage; they cook food in the street and slaughter the sheep in the public yards; and fill the city with thousand tons of dirt and garbage and this does not suit the holy city; the pilgrims should come wearing the best clothes and put on the best perfumes. We stood against these trends that smell of Nawasib (those who show animosity to Ahlubait {PBUH}), and we told them that if they are keen on the cleanliness of the pilgrims and holy Karbala, then they should contribute to building modern slaughtering houses, bathrooms, increasing the number of health facilities, and building more Husseiniyas and halls because the number of Iraqi and foreign pilgrims doubles annually. Today, we are in strong need of your instructions of how to deal with such voices and silence them.

In the name of Allah, the monotheistic Muslim who knows the meaning of the basis of the religion being established by the master of the martyrs (PBUH) after being weakened and destroyed by the hands of the apostate of Islam, or whoever claims or pretends to be Muslim, must know and realize the greatness of the pilgrimage of Hussein (PBUH), for it gains honor from the honor and greatness of the master of martyrs (PBUH) and the rise of his honorable revolution that gave the spirit of continuity to true Islam. Preserving this pilgrimage is a renewal of his (PBUH) revolution and a watering of the tree of Islam whose fruits have blossomed with this revolution. What is mentioned by the arrogant people against the revolution of Imam Hussein (PBUH) is only a small part of the generosity towards the pilgrims as they are so many guests in the house of the generous man. There must be some garbage and waste because of the traveling. Is it wise for the generous not to host the guests who came to support him and give the pledge of allegiance to him? It is like the objecting person does not believe in the Imams (PBUT) urging to perform pilgrimage and speaking of high rewards to pilgrims. It must be known that what was mentioned smells of Nawasib and showing the Omayyad hatred towards Islam and Muslims, where Hussein (PBUH) is the lantern of guidance and the ship of salvation. Yes, we would like to address the municipality of Najaf and Karbala to take care of such issues so that there will be no shortcoming. Allah is the Guide for the rightfulness.
If somebody goes with the intention of visiting Imam Hussein (PBUH) for the Arbaeen, but he reaches and visits before the Arbaeen day and comes back home, will he get the rewards of Arbaeen pilgrimage?

In the name of Allah, there is a great reward for the visitor of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (as) in all times, but there are some rituals which increase this reward like: walking not by car and in a specific day like: Ashura, the night of Friday and Arbaeen day. These rewards are only attained in visiting with these requirements of time and way. As in the question, the visitor is rewarded for visiting Imam Hussein (PBUH) only. Allah knows best.
Who are "the first, the second and the third" mentioned in cursing?

In the name of Allah, it must be known that the creator of this pilgrimage text – who is the infallible Imam (PBUH) or Allah the Exalted as it is one of the holy texts as considered by some- wanted to conceal what is meant in "the first, the second and the third." Guessing should be avoided here, where this is normally done by the rhetoricians. Allah has done this in His Holy Book, where He concealed many things to people and made them known only to Him and the people who are rooted in knowledge. For the non-Imamate sects, such knowledge is only known to Him. Since this is the aim, guessing is futile; rather, it may refer that there is something which the creator of the text has not said. This is what is to be said here although some people may be able to conclude the meaning through the context of pilgrimage text itself, the supplication annexed to it which is "Alqama Supplication" or contemplation in the Quran of the narrations and traditions which could refer to the meaning of the first, the second and the third. However, this cannot be taken for granted. Allah is the Guide and Knowing.

We are a volunteering team who works on removing the trash and garbage from the roads during religious visitations (ziarat). We suffer from a problem which is that the visitors throw the wastes in the middle of the roads. This makes us confused in our work and hinders us from showing the pilgrimages in their best pictures. What is your opinion about this? Is the visitation accepted from the visitor who deliberately throws wastes in the roads and intends destroying the public properties?

In the name of Allah, there is no doubt that Allah will judge people as per their sins if they do not repent. However, you know that travelling the visitor, especially those who come from faraway, is unaware of what you mentioned, so he will do it unintentionally. So, do not ever suspect that. We are proud of you and your brothers. Try to help spread such culture. May Allah reward you, as you are a young believer. And also let the visitors do whatever they like so that your deeds will not go in vain or your rewards will not be less by having suspicion (soo’ul zan) about others. Allah is the all Guide.

In the name of Allah, this act (walking) has been proven recommended in the Arbaeen and other than Arbaeen and whether from Karbala or any other spot in the world. This act gives the happiness and ecstasy to Ahlulbait (PBUH) and gives sadness and misery to their enemies; the two issues are recommended as stated by the narrations. Allah is the all Guide.
Is t recommended in Sharia to visit the graves in Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha?

In the name of Allah, visiting the believers’ graves is recommended, where one can to recite Al-Fatiha and whatever suras of the holy Quran, especially on Saturday, Monday and Thursday. Fatimatul Zahraa (PBUH) was doing this to visit the grave of the Messenger (PBUH&HF) whether or not in Eid. Allah knows best.
We are in the mid of days of Imam Kazim’s (PBUH) martyrdom (PBUH). What are the instructions and directions of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Najafy in this regard? And what are the issues to be followed and taken care of when visiting the Imam (PBUH)?

In the name of Allah, one should commit oneself to his (PBUH) visitation, follow his path, get lit by his speeches or words (like the book of Tuhaf Al-Okool) and his attitudes like bearing the hurt and being patient. If a person visits Imam Hussein (PBUH) before the Arbaeen day and returns from Karbala, does he get rewards of the Arbaeen pilgrimage and normal pilgrimage together or the latter only?
