When reciting the pilgrimage text of righteous servant of Allah like Imam Abbas, at the end it is written (then pray two raka’ats of ziarat). Here, shall the intention be ziarat prayer or to Allah and then offer the reward of this prayer to this righteous servant of Allah?
Answer
In the name of Allah, my son, the ziarat prayer is to pray seeking closeness to Allah then offer its reward for whom you intended. Moreover, be advised, my son, our master Abbas (PBUH) was a servant to the Imam (PBUH) and was not an Imam. Allah knows best.
